Mongstar Ready to “Get On” for Saint Lucia Carnival 2015

PRESS RELEASE – Saint Lucian soca artiste Mongstar has released “We Getting On” – his third single for Saint Lucia Carnival 2015.

The new soca song joins “Lévé Fésé” which he dropped in December 2014, followed in February 2015 with the release of “Your Vibes”.

With “We Getting On” Mongstar is upping the tempo of his first two releases which are Groovy Soca Songs.

“We Getting On” is written by Marley James and Aimran Simmons who also produced the song for his Studio No XCitement. It is Mixed and Mastered by Francis “Leebo” De Lima of Heights Music.

“We Getting On” is the first collaboration between Mongstar and Simmons, whose previous songs have won 5 Saint Lucian soca titles including the 2014 Road March “Hurt It”.

“Working with Studio No XCitement has been an amazing experience with a producer who is not only a songwriter but also a noted musician and one of the premier pan players on island. All that brings richness to his productions, which you will hear, in “We Getting On”. I am very excited about this single and I hope my fans will share in that excitement when they hear it,” says Mongstar.

The release of “We Getting On” was timed to take advantage of the Soca Switch competition organized by the Just 4 Fun Carnival Band.

“That competition is just what Saint Lucia Carnival needed. With bands launching earlier and earlier every year, our soca music needs to start being released to coincide with that. Soca Switch is just what the doctor ordered,” he says.

“We Getting On” is available on SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/mongstar-music/we-getting-on-mongstar-saint-lucia-carnival-2015 and for Free Download https://app.box.com/s/3zuyywj8q88ddv49t7lf7a6mjykjorc4. It has also been released to radio stations and DJ’s.
